I know, I know, I haven't posted in too long. WPPI was an amazing experience plus reading Fast Track Photographer by Dane Sanders and attending Dane's first ever multi day workshop. Let me just say I am spinning! I am going through a major rebranding, self discovery period to find what uniquenss I can bring to my brand and busness. Stay tuned for changes soon. It's a lot of hard work and soul searching. I am starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel. I just hope it is not a train;)

Las Vegas Baby!

I am so excited I am going to WPPI in Las Vegas next week! No Las Vegas isn’t my favorite place, but I am excited for the conference. I scored a place in a two day intensive class from February 12-13 with one of the top ten wedding photographer’s in the world. You can see his work here He is awesome and I am so excited to learn from him. I am also taking a class from Jose Villa. Another great photographer whose work you can see here Add to that an awesome trade show, three more days of fabulous classes, and some really fun parties. I am so excited! Thanks so much to my mom who is going to come and watch the girls for me while I am gone. I couldn’t do it without you mom! YTB:) In anticipation I updated my own website with my most current work. You can see it here. I am still finalizing my plans and need to think about packing soon. I am excited to learn, network with other photographers, and bring home some amazing images. Viva Las Vegas!!

Family Gatherings

I love when large families get together to celebrate. This one was for a baby blessing for this little guy right here.

The funniest part of taking this picture is all the parents standing behind me trying to make their kids look and smile. I love it. I wish I could have taken a picture of that:)

Luau

When I was in Utah in August I photographed a Luau. Photographing an event is much different than doing a session. I got some great images and really loved being able to capture candid shots of people having a great time at this party. The house where the Luau was held was absolutely amazing. It was up in the hills so it had a view to die for. Here are some of my favorite images.

Meet Baby Maci

This little girl is just adorable!

She has a gorgeous mommy and older sister too.

I think she got a little tired of me taking pictures of her. I can just hear her thinking "Yeah, this lady...can you get her to STOP taking pictures of me?

Her older sister has such beautiful eyes, I couldn't resist taking a few pictures of them.

This is one of my favorites, but I always love playing with the sun!

Okay, I did not drop off the face of the planet! We went on a little trip to Utah and had so much fun. I took so many pictures it is going to take me months to process them all! What a perfect family to photograph! Cute pregnant mommy, adorable kids, handsome husband, I loved it!
The little boy is just two and didn't have any interest in me at all. Hmmm, hang around the lady with the camera or go play on the playground. I can't blame him at all.

The darling girl loved to pose for the camera and is so photogenic. Mom and Dad were so cute together.

Chase is definitely a beach boy!

He didn't smile on the beach at all and then only smiled when his friend was standing behind me. I don't know if his friend was making bunny ears behind my head or what, but I didn't care. I love the images of him smiling, but I also love the images where he is serious.

I love it when my clients can just be themselves around me and do what they feel like doing. It's all about being who you are. That's what I love to capture. Cute, cute boy!

Lesue Family!

My sister came into town for a visit so of coarse I had to take pictures of her cute family! First we went to one of my favorite photo spots. I just love the colors here.

Of coarse we had to go down to the beach.

The next day they left me with the kids while they went on an anniversary trip to Disneyland. Left with cute kids and a camera-time for another mini photo shoot!

I have known Kristen since she was a little girl. It was so fun to take pictures of her and her soon to be hubby Clayton.

They had no problem getting snuggly, but they also had tons of fun.

By the end of the session they were doing all kinds of funny things which is just how I love it!

Here are some pictures I took of my nephew's family. They are such awesome parents and have such a cute little family.

This is their new little one. She is so adorable. I love the chubbiness! I couldn't resist cropping in on those chubby little hands.

This little angel is a special miracle. It's amazing that she is even alive. Looking into her beautiful eyes you can see her soul. What a special person she is!

My nephew Tom got married! We just love his new wife, she is perfect for him.

I had so much fun taking pictures of them and being part of their special day.

They both have a great sense of humor and laugh a lot, but they didn't mind stopping for a kiss anytime they were asked;)

Grand Opening of Carol Cobb Photography!!!

I am so excited to announce the grand opening of Carol Cobb Photography! I have always loved photography and now am able to live that passion through my own photography business. My webiste finally went live today after a lot of work and late nights-but it was worth it. I love it and look forward to updating it often with new images!
